10 Common Cat Breeds

I have often talked about the importance of adopting a cat that is suitable to one’s lifestyle & personality. (Refer to my E-book: Feline Fundamentals  A First Time Owner’s Guide to Cat Care)

Cats, with their myriad of personalities, breeds, colors, and sizes, are not just pets but a chosen family member, and it is important to know what to expect.

Some people may resort to purchasing a cat as they want a certain look, or behaviour (e.g. lap cat), but do you know what to really expect?

Let’s discuss 10 Common Cat Breeds, their potential health issues, character traits, & a crucial message on ethical pet ownership. #adoptdontshop

Adopting a cat is a compassionate choice that saves lives & offers a loving home to a cat in need. Animal shelters & rescue organizations are filled with cats of all ages, breeds & personalities waiting for their forever homes.

By adopting, you not only give a deserving cat a second chance at a happy life but also help reduce the demand for breeding & the number of cats in shelters. Additionally, adopting is often more affordable than buying from a breeder, as many shelters & rescuers include vaccinations, sterilization & microchipping in the adoption fee.
